Empathize
Research & Insights
Rather than conducting research from scratch, understanding was built upon an existing, well-established design foundation and real business context.
01
Existing Apple design patterns and user expectations
02
Internal stakeholder inputs (business & marketing needs)
03
Observations of user behavior in e-commerce contexts
User Personal

Problems
The platform follows Apple’s design language as a strong foundation, which already provides a high level of usability and visual consistency.
The challenge was not to fix poor UX, but to adapt Apple-based structures to support Studio7’s specific business features and requirements, which were not originally part of the Apple framework. Key challenges included:
Problem 01

Integrating Studio7-specific features into an Apple-based UI structure
Ensuring new sections fit naturally without breaking design consistency
Problem 02

Adjusting layouts and flows to align with real business logic and operations
Maintaining a balance between brand consistency (Apple) and functional requirements (Studio7)

Define & Ideate
UX Strategy & Key Decisions
The redesign focused on clarity, scalability, and content discoverability.
01
Design Direction
Maintain Apple-like minimal and structured layout
Introduce business features in a non-intrusive way
Prioritize clarity and scannability
02
Ideation Focus
How to introduce urgency without breaking visual harmony?
How to integrate promotional UI within existing layout patterns?

Goal Statements
Goal 01

Seamlessly integrate Studio7 features into an Apple-based design system
Maintain visual and interaction consistency
Goal 02

Ensure usability supports real-world user tasks and business needs
Minimize friction while introducing new functionality

Prototype & Test
Low - Mid Wireframes
Explored placement options for new sections within homepage
Tested layout variations (top placement vs mid-scroll)
Defined content grouping and hierarchy

High-Wireframes
Applied Apple-based design language
Integrated Flash Sale UI with consistent spacing and typography
Refined visual hierarchy and interaction elements

Before → After Transformation
Homepage
The original experience was optimized for product discovery and storytelling, but did not fully support promotional merchandising.
By integrating a Flash Sale section into the existing design system, the experience now better accommodates campaign-driven content while preserving visual consistency and usability.
As a result, users can discover promotional products more easily, while Studio7 gains greater visibility for sales-focused initiatives.

Flashsale page
The original platform did not provide a dedicated experience for promotional campaigns.
A Flash Sale page was introduced to centralize discounted products and time-limited offers, improving product discoverability and supporting conversion-focused business goals.
Product Detail
The original experience prioritized product information and configuration, with limited exposure to promotional incentives.
Promotion labels, a dedicated coupon section, and a Bundle & Save module were introduced to surface discounts, available benefits, and complementary products directly within the purchasing journey.
As a result, users can discover more value before checkout, while the business gains stronger support for promotions, coupon adoption, and cross-selling opportunities.

Shopping Cart
The original cart experience prioritized order review and checkout, with limited support for product recommendations and membership engagement.
A Bundle & Save section was added beneath each cart item to promote complementary products, while a 7CLUB+ connection prompt was introduced to encourage users to link their membership before completing their purchase.
As a result, users can discover additional value without leaving the cart, while the business benefits from stronger cross-selling opportunities and increased member adoption.
